About MeMy passion is enabling teachers to use technology to enhance student achievement. The work done for my dissertation study leads to studies on how to increase the number of teachers successfully overcoming barriers to technology integration. This is where my passion lies and the more I learn, the more I realize I do not know. I have presented at several conferences, in person, online, and in a virtual world, most recently at the T.A.S.T.E. (Technologies and Strategies for Teaching Excellence Reboot 2019) conference held at Frostburg State University, Frostburg, Maryland this past May. Last fall, I had a poster session at RUCC (Rockcliffe University Consortium Conference). In keeping with innovation, these were named infographics and I presented virtually. I am a member of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT), the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), Maryland Society for Educational Technology (MSET), and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). My coauthor and I have published in the Journal of Educational Research and Practice.
